# Introduction

*Burn the space down. From the ashes we rise.*

*-*

The crypto landscape is cluttered with lifeless tokens offering little value to their holders. $CHAR is here to disrupt the status quo, providing a dynamic burn mechanism via its CHAR dApp. With this platform, $CHAR creates value, from nothing, by "charring" dead tokens into $BLACK.

\-

The Char ecosystem aims to reduce the current diluted meme space to ashes, in order to welcome a fresh take on value. Through our CHAR dApp, users can "Char" their inactive tokens to receive $BLACK, the native reward token. Accessing the CHAR dApp is straightforward, ensuring that anyone interested in rejuvenating tokens and earning rewards can easily become a part of the movement. Moreover, $CHAR hosts periodic "CHARRING Events," where users can submit their worthless tokens to be charred. The winning token- or in other words, whatever token community burns the most supply in exchange for $BLACK -is determined based upon the percentage of supply charred and the number of unique wallets that contributed to the charring. Participants can earn various rewards including ETH, airdrops, whitelists, and alpha access.
